From April 12-13, 2024, the Marines of 1/5 will be hosted by the Robert Irvine Foundation's Reuniting the Brave (RTB) program in conjunction with the 1st Bn 5th Marines Association for an unforgettable weekend honoring those who served in OIF II. Your planning committee consists of the following:

The Robert Irvine Foundation's Reuniting the Brave serves to reunite those that served together in order to reignite that connection that got servicemembers through their toughest times, each other. The 1/5 Association with the company representatives above are working closely with the Robert Irvine Foundation to plan this event. Further details will be forth coming, but please find a rough schedule of events below:

Friday, April 12: Evening social mixer at location to be determined in Oceanside, CA

Saturday, April 13: Morning: 1st Sgt Hill hike to honor the fallen brothers

                                  Evening: Dinner and celebration on Del Mar Beach

You will notice a question on the ticket registration asking if you require travel support. The Robert Irvine Foundation understands that everyone's situation is different and we would never want someone to not attend due to finances. If you answer yes, an RIF team member will reach out to you to facilitate your needs. Details below:

Veterans: The purpose of this support is if you would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship. We will assist you through airfare or fuel reimbursement if driving. It is completely anonymous and your information will be kept private. If this does not apply to you, please coordinate your own travel so that we can maximize our assistance to yours and future efforts to reunite our Nation's warriors.
